Course Withdrawal Terms
Understanding your options when circumstances shift before or during your advanced financial analysis program at pyravoluna
We recognise that plans change. Maybe your career takes an unexpected turn, or personal circumstances demand your attention elsewhere. Our withdrawal arrangements reflect the realities of committing to intensive education while navigating life's unpredictability.
What follows describes how we handle program exits at different stages, what you might receive back, and what steps to take when you need to step away from your studies with us.
Before Your Program Begins
If you change your mind before the start date, the timing of your decision determines the financial outcome. We've structured this to balance administrative costs against fairness for students whose circumstances shift.
More Than Four Weeks Out
When you withdraw over thirty days before scheduled commencement, you receive back the full amount minus a two hundred fifty dollar processing charge that covers our enrolment administration and seat reservation costs.
Between Two and Four Weeks
Withdrawing in this window means we retain half of your course fee. By this point, we've committed resources to your cohort, prepared materials specific to your intake, and likely declined other applicants for your position.
Under Fourteen Days Before Start
Late withdrawals result in no refund since program preparations have reached completion and your instructor allocation is finalised. This protects the viability of smaller cohorts where each participant matters.
After Classes Commence
Once you've begun attending sessions, different considerations apply. You've already accessed content, instruction time, and program resources that can't be returned or reallocated.
First Week Withdrawal
Students who attend initial sessions then withdraw receive seventy percent of their fee back. This accounts for introductory content consumed and instructor preparation dedicated to your participation.
Second Through Fourth Week
Leaving during this phase returns forty percent of your payment. You've engaged with substantial curriculum by now, worked through case studies, and received feedback that required considerable instructor investment.
Beyond Month One
After four weeks of participation, no funds are returned when you exit. At this stage you've consumed most core content and your presence has shaped how instructors delivered subsequent material to your cohort.
Medical and Emergency Circumstances
Serious health issues or family emergencies receive individual assessment rather than automatic application of standard terms. We ask for supporting documentation and work with you to find arrangements that acknowledge both your situation and our operational constraints. This might mean deferral to a future intake rather than withdrawal, or adjusted terms based on what you've already accessed.
How to Request Withdrawal
Withdrawing requires written notice rather than a phone call or casual mention to an instructor. This creates a clear record for both parties and prevents misunderstandings about timing or intentions.
Submit in Writing
Email your withdrawal request to our administration address. Include your full name as enrolled, program name, and intended exit date. We calculate everything from when this message reaches us, not from when you mentally decided.
Expect Processing Time
We review withdrawal requests within three business days and confirm your exit arrangements. Any applicable refund appears in your account within four weeks, though most process faster depending on your payment method.
Platform Access Ends
Your learning platform credentials deactivate once withdrawal processes conclude. Download any personal work or notes beforehand since post-exit access isn't granted even temporarily.
What Isn't Refundable
Some charges stay with us regardless of withdrawal timing because they represent services already rendered or costs already incurred on your behalf.
Application Processing
The initial assessment fee charged during application doesn't return since we completed that review work before you enrolled. This covers the time spent evaluating your background and determining program fit.
Third Party Materials
Physical textbooks, software licenses, or data access subscriptions purchased specifically for your use stay non-refundable once delivered or activated. These represent costs we can't recover from vendors.
Completed Modules
If you withdraw partway through a program, any modules you've finished remain paid for regardless of the withdrawal percentage applied to remaining portions. You consumed that content and instructor time completely.
These arrangements apply to standard enrolments paid directly to pyravoluna. Company-sponsored students or those using government funding schemes should check with their sponsor or funding body about specific withdrawal procedures that might override our standard process.
Program Cancellations We Initiate
Sometimes we cancel programs before they start because enrolment numbers don't reach viable thresholds or an instructor becomes unexpectedly unavailable. When this happens, you receive complete refunds without any deductions.
We make these decisions at least ten days before scheduled commencement when possible, giving you time to consider alternatives. If you've arranged accommodation or travel based on program dates, we can't reimburse those costs, but we'll work with you on priority placement in the next available intake.
Deferral Instead of Withdrawal
Before withdrawing completely, consider whether postponing to a future intake makes more sense. We allow one deferral without penalty if requested at least two weeks before program start. This preserves your investment while accommodating temporary obstacles. Deferrals during active programs require approval and might incur an administrative charge since we need to extract you from one cohort and insert you into another at an appropriate juncture.
Questions About Your Specific Situation
Individual circumstances sometimes fall outside these standard arrangements. If you're uncertain how terms apply to your particular enrolment or need to discuss exceptional circumstances, speak with our student services team rather than making assumptions based on what you read here.
